AmericanHort Horticultural Research Institute Now Accepting Scholarship Applications
HRI scholarships are made possible by seven special endowment funds that aid students who are seeking a lifelong career in horticulture. HRI, and the individuals and businesses who support us, consider graduating students in horticulture to be the lifeblood of the green industry. The scholarship application and prerequisite information are available on the Horticultural Research Institute website.

Ventura County Chapter, California Association of Pest Control Advisors
The Ventura Chapter of the California Association of Pest Control Advisers would like to invite your students to apply for our annual scholarship. CAPCA is a professional organization of licensed pest control advisers working in agriculture and horticulture. Applicants must be enrolled in a four-year California college or university for Fall 2020, preferably majoring in plant science or agriculture. They also must have been a permanent resident of Ventura or Santa Barbara counties prior to attending college. The deadline to submit an application is May 31.
