Huntley College Accepting Nominations for 2018 Award

The Huntley College of Agriculture is accepting nominations for the 2018 Jim Hicks Agricultural Achievement Award.

The award recognizes individuals for their accomplishments on behalf of agriculture. It is named after businessman Jim Hicks, a longtime supporter of agriculture education who was the inaugural recipient in 2015.

The college presents the award at its annual Spring Harvest Farm to Table Dinner, which will be held at AGRIscapes in April 2018. The event includes local chefs preparing a meal that includes California wine and produce grown by Huntley College of Agriculture students. 

In addition to Hicks, past recipients include Karen Caplan, A.G. Kawamura and George Soares.
