A revamped Cal Poly Pomona festival drew about 2,500 people on Saturday, May 13, to the AGRIscapes Outreach Center.

The Spring on the Farm Festival & Tractor Show focused on farming and agriculture with demonstrations of cow milking, blacksmithing and traditional soap making. In addition, the event featured farmer’s market, petting farm, children’s garden, pony and camel rides, antique tractors, and hay rides.

Visitors also enjoyed live entertainment, tasty festival food, and craft vendors.

Over the previous 10 years, the Huntley College of Agriculture had hosted a Strawberry Festival, Tractor & Car Show.

However, fire safety regulations prevented continuation of the car show this year. Pick-your-own strawberries and blackberries were available in limited supplies due to this winter’s heavy rains, which delayed planting.
