Discover STEM Careers in Ag

Tour poster

Looking for a career that involves science, technology, engineering, and mathematics?

Explore a possible career in agriculture in a three-day tour of farming operations in the Coachella and Imperial valleys and Arizona.

The Dec. 16-18 trip is sponsored by Western Growers, which started the program in 2016 as a way to get college students interested in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM)-related careers in agriculture. Students from UC Davis and the University of Arizona also have participated in the tour.

Students interested in going on the all-expense-paid tour must fill out an application form and return it to Lisa Kessler, interim dean of the Huntley College of Agriculture, by Nov. 1.
