Cat Castaneda, a former agricultural science student, opened her own restaurant, "Native Fields," in Walnut that features produce from the Cal Poly Pomona Farm.
Jenny Guerra ('09, animal science) is making an impact in education as director of Whittier College's Office of Equity and Inclusion.
Husna Ridha, a nutrition and dietetics student who is minoring in plant-based nutrition. Ridha runs her own vegan bakery business and offers plant-based diet tips and tricks on social media that has quite a following.
