A horse that was bred at the W.K. Kellogg Arabian Horse Center visited an Oklahoma developmental center to bring cheer to special needs kids.

CP Rock On was an Arabian horse ambassador to the Little Light House School of Tulsa in October. The Little Light House is a Christian developmental center for children with special needs. The children got a chance to interact during the visit with the horse.

The visit was arranged through the Arabian Horsemen’s Distress Fund, a nonprofit that helps members of the Arabian horse community through crises. The fund has arranged for the horse to visit the school for the last five years.

CP Rock On is a 2003 gelding and represents seven generations of W.K. Kellogg breeding. He has won several national titles in the Country English Pleasure division. The horse is owned by Linda Abramowicz-Reid.

The visit occurred during the U.S. Arabian Horse National Championships, Oct. 23-31, in Tulsa.
