Romo to Help College Find Event Sponsorships

The College of Agriculture has hired Mary Romo as a part-time employee to help secure sponsors for fundraising and outreach events.

Romo was a volunteer who helped organize this year’s Farm2Table Spring Harvest Dinner. She comes to Cal Poly Pomona having worked in marketing and sales in the information technology service industry for the past seven years.

She also was a vice president in charge of a movie marketing research screening division in Los Angeles. Her experience includes management leadership, business development/prospecting/research, client service and networking and account strategy and management.

Romo has a bachelor’s degree in political science from UC Riverside.
