Drop-In Groups

CAPS offers drop-in groups that are designed to provide a supportive space for students who may be going through similar experiences. A CAPS counselor facilitates the drop-in group, which is often located at other departments on campus. Students are not expected to attend each group session but can certainly join the group as often as needed

For Spring 2020 we offer the following Drop-In groups:

  • Mindfulness Mondays
    • Enjoy a restorative 30-minute mindfulness meditation, sound therapy, and community. Leave feeling grounded, aligned and balanced.
    • Mondays from 3:15-3:45pm
    • Bldg. 95-L100, Dolores Huerta Conference Room
  • Parent Support Group
    • Juggling parenting and the demands of being a student can be difficult, and everyone can use a little extra support. Coffee & tea are provided and children are welcome!
    • Thursdays from 9-10am
    • Bldg. 95-201, Womxn's Resource Center
