This is a meditation to support sleep, rest, and ease and is intended to
provide space for students and staff to find moments of relief and reminders
that their productivity does not determine their worth.

Meditation in support of BIPOC Students and Staff (Open to Students, Faculty and Staff)

This meditation is created in support of BIPOC students and staff and will explore different elements of rest in combating racial trauma and fatigue. This includes: spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical. The postures and breath work are thoughtfully crafted to help uncover trauma imprints and support the healing process. All are welcome.

Restorative Yoga for Ethnic and Race-Based Trauma (Open to Students, Faculty and Staff)

This yoga class will provide a safe space and dialogue to unpack how race-based
trauma manifests in the body. It will follow with a restorative practice that is
grounded in culturally affirming frameworks and is designed to empower students and
staff to release trapped psychological and physical energies and come back home to
their bodies.

empowers students and staff to tend to their most important resource:

Finding Ease in Uncertainty (Open to Students, Faculty and Staff)

This is a grounding trauma-informed yoga practice to support students and staff with
finding ease amidst so much collective trauma, stress, overwhelm, and uncertainty. Students and staff will
be provided with supportive tools to find moments of calm in the chaos. Students and staff are
invited to connect in community, channel quiet awareness and presence, find stability and
safety in the body, and cultivate resilience.

April 7, 2021 11am to 11:45am,
Yoga for Healing (Open to Students, Faculty and Staff)

This yoga class is taught from a trauma-informed lens to support the many nonlinear
routes of the healing journey. The postures and breathwork are thoughtfully
crafted to ground students in their own worthiness and remind them that they are
enough, exactly as they are.
