Alumni Services Program
As a Cal Poly Pomona graduate, the Career Center can continue to assist you through your professional journey. If you would like to continue using Career Center services, follow the steps listed below:
- Read the Alumni Career Services Overview below to find out what services we offer to our CPP alumni.
- Register for the Alumni Services Program below.
- Look out for an email from the Career Center confirming your alumni services activation.
Please read the following notices before registering for the Alumni Services Program:
- Alumni within one year of graduation still have access to Handshake, the CPP job portal.
- If you graduated more than one year ago, you need to register for the Alumni Services Program to make a Career Counseling appointment or utilize the Handshake platform.
Alumni Career Services
- Career Counseling: One-on-one appointments with a Career Counselor to discuss job search, resume/cover letter, interview preparation, career exploration, and more
- Access to Handshake: CPP's 24/7 online job board
- Career Fairs: Meet with employers and network with industry professionals (currently virtual on Handshake).
- Assessments: Take a career assessment to help you align your values, strengths, and interests with your career decisions (MBTI, StrengthsQuest, Strong Interest Inventory).
Current CSU students & alumni from other CSU campuses must demonstrate proper documentation, such as a diploma, transcript, or current course list that verifies status at one of the 23 CSU campuses.
This can be used to access career services that do not require a counselor including:
- Career planning workshops and programs
- Printed career information
- Online career services that do not require a CSUF login
- Does not include remote access to job postings
For CSU students and alumni (within one year of graduation) the CPP Career Center does offer one-time reciprocal services in the form of resume/cover letter review, mock interview and quick job search assistance if College Career Specialists schedule permits. This does not include access to job postings. To access the one-time reciprocal services, CSU students and alumni must request a reciprocity letter from their institution’s career center and submit it to the CPP Career Center. Registration Form
Before signing up, please note the following:
- If you do not remember your exact graduation date, you may put either the month and year or just the year. For example: May 2020 or 2020.
- If you do not remember your Bronco ID, you may leave that section blank.
- If you do not have a middle name, please input a placeholder. For example: Billy N/A Bronco.
