Virtual Information Sessions
Employers: As the Career Center looks at ways of assisting you during this time, we have updated ways you can use virtual services and programs of the Career Center. Our number one priority will always be the health and safety of our students, employers, faculty/staff, and alumni.
Information Sessions are for companies that want to hold the session virtually. Whether you plan on recruiting or just want to present your company, holding an Information Session will give your company the opportunity to stimulate interest by introducing itself and providing a career path overview. An Information Session will also boost resume submissions and encourage interview signups. The Virtual Information Session is available for 1-2 hours. Program services includes advertising via email blasts to reach targeted students and alumni, social media postings and announcements to campus clubs and related organizations.
The Virtual Information Session is available for just $65.00 per session (1-2 hours).
Included with the Virtual Information Session is the advertisement of your event via email blasts to students, social media postings and club outreach.

To schedule your Information Session
Or follow these steps to schedule your Virtual Information Session, log into your Handshake account and select “Create an Event.” Then select the format “Virtual: My company is hosting this event virtually.” Next, select the type of event “Information Session.”
Requests for Information Sessions will be reviewed and approved by the Career Center. Approved Information Sessions will be active for students to view in Handshake when searching for events.
