What is Career Counseling?

Career Counseling is pre-scheduled one-hour appointments to provide professional, individualized, career guidance and support throughout the career exploration process. You will meet on-on-one with a Career Specialist or Career Center staff member to explore a career readiness topic of your choice:

  • Career Assessments, such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, Stong Interest Inventory, and StrengthsQuest
  • Clothes Closet--styling tips for professional impressions
  • Federal Work Study Jobs
  • Graduate School Planning
  • Interview Preparation
  • Job Search
  • Resume & Cover Letter

What is Drop-In Advising?

Drop-In Advising provides an opportunity to get immediate feedback on your resumes and cover letters and learn about Career Center services. There is no appointment needed for 15-minute Drop-In Advising sessions. Simply visit CPP Connect Monday-Friday from 1:00PM - 3:00PM to participate either in person or virtually.
