Tobi West, CISSP, GCFE, is a Lecturer at Cal Poly Pomona. Tobi earned her MSBA in Information Systems Audit from Cal Poly Pomona and teaches CIS Internships, Fundamentals of Computer Information Systems, Systems Development Project, and Computer Forensics in the College of Business Administration's Computer Information Systems Department. 

Ms. West is in charge of the CIS student internships and recruiting efforts at Cal Poly Pomona. Tobi has many years of experience in cybersecurity, software development, and project management. She is also a member of ISSA, ISACA, and HTCIA. 

Tobi West serves as a committee member for the Southern California Cybersecurity Community College Consortium in which local colleges align to improve curriculum, support regional and national cybersecurity competition activities, and promote a variety of events for female students to engage with cybersecurity and technology activities.  Her focus is on cybersecurity education and career pathways for students to achieve their goals as a cybersecurity professional. In addition to teaching security related courses full time, she coordinates local training and competition for middle schools and high schools to compete in CyberPatriot at Coastline Community College.
