Grading Criteria

This is the manner in which the judges grade and evaluate each of the teams.

The scoring range for each criterion is between 0 and 5 points.

Problem: The problem is significantly addressed. The team clearly states the issue and why it is a genuine conflict in the real world.
Solution: The team distinctively pinpoints a solution/approach to the problem. The solution addresses the problem in a way that meets the customer’s needs/wants.
Market: The target customer market is significant, well-defined, and growing. The team was able to analyze their target market and determine the market segment, who are the potential buyers. 
Value Creation: The team clearly articulates the potential for sustainability. This may include marketing and sales approaches about how they plan to keep the ability of their business growth.
Competition: The solution is differentiated from its competitors. The team’s idea is original and full of creativity. Answers “why should people come to you?” 
Chance of Success: The team demonstrates and expresses how believable/credible their abilities are to execute the concept and to make their business a success.
Presentation: The overall presentation was well organized. The verbal pitch presentation was given respectively and passion was gathered by the presenter(s).
