CBA Cares Stipend Established for Students Affected by COVID-19

April 10, 2020

A survey of 720 College of Business Administration majors revealed the COVID 19 pandemic has affected the employment in 85 percent of households. The newly-established CBA Student Success and Relief Stipend hopes to ease the economic impact among its students.

Generous funding from donors have allowed the CBA Student Success and Relief Stipend to provide up to $500 of emergency assistance to students facing substantial financial challenges in the wake of COVID-19. Disbursement of the stipends is expected to begin before May.

All students currently enrolled at the CBA are eligible to fill out an online application with information about his or her unique circumstances. A committee starts reviewing submissions on April 16, 2020. In this time of uncertainty and great challenge, decisions will be made in a timely manner with the goal of providing quick access to important funds.
