American Semester Program

Courses Typically Available

American Semester Program (ASP) students are ‘visiting students’. Priority registration is given to degree-seeking students at Cal Poly Pomona. Courses are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Registration is based on space availability, instructor approval, and/or department approval. Students must complete prerequisites prior to enrolling. Some courses are not offered every term.

Before you apply, please check the course descriptions and the class schedule for a brief understanding about what courses are offered.

Once you've applied for the program, you will get:

  • Bronco ID number
  • A Cal Poly Pomona email account
  • Instruction on creating a passcode for your Cal Poly Pomona account

Then you will be able to access to the BroncoDirect for the pre-requisites and detailed information of your selected courses. Click here for the instruction on how to find the pre-requisites.
