Music Lecturer Canchola and Ace Trio Release New CD

Ace Trio

Flutist Shannon Canchola, an adjunct music lecturer, and her award-winning chamber ensemble, ACE Trio, have just released their first CD together performing an arrangement by one of the trio members Ryan Glass of "The Four Seasons of Buenos Aires" by the incredible Astor Piazzolla.

"This was such a fun project to do together, stated Canchola, and we hope you enjoy listening to these movements depicting the playful spring, the sorrowful scorching summer, the busy worker bee fall, and the romantic snowflake-falling winter. We poured our hearts into it and truly enjoyed every minute of it together. A huge thank you to Simon Jay and the creative recording team at The Hive Studios for helping make this dream come alive. We hope that this album takes you away to another place and gives you inspiration to stay strong and to keep holding on for better days."

Coined a “Musical Tour de Force” by the Mountaineer Progress Newspaper, the Los Angeles-based trio of Canchola, Glass (clarinet) and Jason Stoll (piano) is a modern ensemble steeped in classical music. As recent winners of the 2018 Beverly Hills National Audition Chamber Ensemble Competition, ACE Trio is dedicated to promoting the newest voices in music; performing their own innovative arrangements and all accessible contemporary music by living composers from around the world.

Available to listen on iTunes, Google Play and Spotify, which we hope you will support during these financially unstable times for many workers (including us musicians).
