Renford Reese publishes "100 Countries: A Travel Guide"

Dr. Renford ReeseCongratulations to Renford Reese on the publication of his latest book, 100 Countries: A Travel Guide":

The great music composer, Quincy Jones, once poignantly said, “You have to go to know.” Over the past 30 years, the author has lived by these words. "100 Countries: A Travel Guide" provides a fascinating and refreshing overview of the 100 countries that he has visited. It is a must read for world travelers e.g., for those thinking about their next international destinations. The author rates each country on nine variables: Natural Beauty, Local Cuisine, Nightlife/Entertainment, Cultural Vibrancy, Tourist Attractions, Public Transportation, the Warmth of the People, Cleanliness, and Safety. Following this section, the author discusses the highlights of each country and briefly summarizes his experiences in that country. He goes on to discuss the five "Must Sees" and the five "Must Eats" while in the country. This refers to the five things in the country that the author believes you must see and the five things in the country that you must eat. The "Must Eats" section reads like a cookbook on favorite national dishes. At the end of the book, the author candidly critiques his home country, the United States of America, on the same nine variables upon which he critiqued the other countries. There are "Colorful Flags" human relations statements in 26 languages as a bonus at the end of the book as well as the author's "Favorites." After having traveled to 100 countries, the author comes to one definitive conclusion: the world is absolutely wonderful, amazing, and beautiful and it should be explored!

Congratulations to Dr. Reese on this latest publication and milestone!
