The Gilman Scholarship Program provides up to $5,000 (or $8,000 including the Critical Need Language Award) for undergraduate students who are U.S. citizens and Federal Pell Grant recipients at two-year or four-year institutions. Over 5,000 students applied for the award in 2019 and just over 1,300 outstanding students were offered awards to participate in credit-bearing study abroad programs and career-oriented internships in countries all around the world.
Congratulations to our students for not only receiving a Gilman Scholarship, but also for making a powerful decision to study abroad during their time at Cal Poly Pomona and embarking on an adventure of a lifetime!
