Cyber Security & Awareness Fair

Poster Contest Information

We invite full-time undergraduate and graduate students to submit poster presentations on emerging topics in the field of cyber security, information assurance and forensics. Which include but are not limited to: Internet of Things (IoT) security, Cloud security, mobile security, e-commerce security and secure coding etc.

The goal of the poster session is to raise awareness among the fair’s audience on the topic that you choose to present.  Thanks to the Los Angeles Chapter of ISACA, poster competition winners will receive:

First Place $300
Second Place $250
Third Place $200
Fourth Place $150
Fifth Place $100


Submission Deadline:  October 11th, 2020 at 11:59 PM Pacific


Grading Criteria: 

  • Relevance to the field of cyber security, information assurance and forensics
  • Potential for practical impact
  • Degree of originality
  • Technical depth
  • The overall quality of the submission

Important: Top 5 submissions will be chosen based on the abstract submission.  The final judging will be on October 29th, 2020.  Contestant/Team must be available to virtually present content from 10am-2pm.  Final judging for the winners will be held between 11am-1pm.  Decision of the judges is final.
