Chemical Hygiene Committee
The Chemical Hygiene Committee is tasked with reviewing campus procedures for the procurement, storage, and use of chemicals for instructional and research activities. Our mission is to foster innovation and creativity through a safe learning environment.
About the Committee
The Committee is comprised of subject matter experts and includes representation from University faculty, staff, administration and represented employees.
Goals: FY 2019-2020
- Implement chemical procurement procedures
- Implementation of a centralized chemical inventory database
- Implementation of an online waste tracking system
