Wayne Rowe (Ph.D., University of Southern California) is Professor of Communication. He teaches in the Journalism and Public Relations options.
Professor Rowe has been a professional photographer for more than 40 years in a variety of commercial areas. His work has illustrated high school and college textbooks for Harper & Row Publishers, Holt, Rinehart and Winston, Inc., and Glencoe/McGraw-Hill Publishers. His editorial and interior photography has appeared in Architectural Digest, Art & Antiques Magazine, CaliforniaHomes, Holiday Magazine, Interiors Magazine, and Contract Magazine. His advertising photography has concentrated on consumer and trade magazine advertisements, brochures, sales catalogues, calendars, posters, and post cards with the bulk of the work being contracted by interior designers, product manufacturers, and advertising agencies. Professor Rowe is currently working on a book titledThe Magic of Photographic Lighting.
