Financial Aid and Scholarships

Scholarships

There’s no one way to pay for school. We help provide Cal Poly Pomona students with the resources to apply for scholarships. Scholarships are often called free money or aid that does not have to be repaid. These awards can be based not only on your grades, but also on your unique identity.

The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is the official hub for scholarship information at Cal Poly Pomona. We collect, organize, and distribute information on hundreds of external scholarships as well as administer university scholarships for the campus.

Before applying for any scholarships, we recommend completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or the California Dream Application. Completing the FAFSA or Dream Application won’t cost you anything, and you don’t need to pay someone else to prepare it for you.

All students are encouraged to apply for Cal Poly Pomona Scholarships regardless of immigration status.

Please be aware scholarship recipients must be enrolled at Cal Poly Pomona in the semester they are receiving their funds.
