Departments and Contacts

Facilities Planning, Design and Construction, in partnership with the campus community, is responsible for:

  • Strategic planning and development of the Campus Master Plan.
  • Securing entitlements and state funding for campus facilities.
  • Implementing the Campus Master Plan through the annual capital improvement program.
  • Managing and developing Cal Poly Pomona's 3 million square feet of building and classroom space and 1,400 acres of land. 
  • Representing the campus at meetings with the CSU Chancellor and other state and local regulatory agencies on capital projects and university assets. 

Facilities Management provides services that help create an environment that is conducive to learning. A consortium of units works together to maintain clean, safe and comfortable learning and work environments for the students, faculty, and staff.

Facilities Administrative Services is a customer-focused operation that provides support services with the goal of maintaining and improving productivity and effectiveness. Employees are empowered to take initiative and improve the way service is provided to the campus community.

Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) is responsible for planning, implementing, and administering the campus Environmental Health and Safety Programs and for providing technical consultation, training, and inspection to ensure compliance with laws and maintain a safe place to work, study, and play for faculty, staff, students, and visitors.

The Office of Sustainability strives to help students, faculty and staff embrace sustainability in their daily lives while integrating sustainable practices into the university’s policies, academics, operations, student activities and community engagement.
