Important Dates

How to Apply
- Apply and Gain Admission to Cal Poly Pomona
- Must be an Incoming First-Time Freshmen in College
- Must Identify as a Man of Color (All Gender Expressions Welcome)
- Must fully complete and submit our myBAR application (Step One Below)
- Must be a full-time (12 units each semester) registered Cal Poly Pomona student for the entire 2021 – 2022 academic year
- Expected to maintain a minimum of 2.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) during the program, with the goal to achieve no less than a 2.5 cumulative GPA
- Must enroll in the 3-unit Ethnic & Women's Studies (EWS) Course for Fall 2021
- The link to the Project SUCCESS application will become available here and on the home page on May 3, 2022.
- Application updates will be communicated via email beginning on June 8, 2022.
Students admitted into the Project SUCCESS program will receive a permission number via email to enroll in EWS 1020 for Fall 2022 during orientation.
Admitted students will receive information regarding the Project SUCCESS orientation over the summer.
