Orientation Requirements:

Make an Orientation Reservation

Make your Orientation reservation beginning May 1, 2024. You will receive written communication about Orientation via your CPP email address.

Complete the Pre-Orientation Modules

The CPP pre-orientation modules will be available to you prior to your Orientation day (check back in March for more updates). You must complete the first two modules before your Orientation day in order for your Orientation Registration (ROS) hold to be removed and allow for course registration.

Attend Orientation Day

Attend your Orientation Day! At your orientation, you will meet other new students, get connected with campus resources, and register for your first-semester courses.

Why Do I Need to Participate in Orientation?

  • Orientation prepares you for academic success by introducing you to faculty and staff, teaching you about registration tools and academic culture, and connecting you to important academic support resources.
  • Orientation helps you connect to the campus community by providing opportunities to meet other students.
  • Orientation empowers you to be an active learner by teaching you about CPP policies, introducing you to resources to help when times are tough, and giving you the tools you need to become a critical thinker.
