Orientation Services

Fee and Payment Information

Spring 2022 information will be available in October 2021.

The Orientation Fee is not part of your Enrollment Confirmation Deposit. It is a separate fee and cannot be waived. However, the fee is due by February 5, 2021 for Spring 2021 so you may wait until after your financial aid is disbursed, which is 10 days before the start of the semester. You must pay any remaining balance on your student account by February 5, 2021.

Orientation is a self-supporting program. The Orientation Fee helps cover costs associated with programs and services for incoming students, including but not limited to:

  • One guest orientation reservation
  • Online Orientation
  • Academic advising and course registration
  • Virtual engagement opportunities with Orientation Leaders
  • Virtual engagement opportunities with campus departments
  • New student materials, such as the Orientation Resource Guide

Refund Policies and Procedures

Refunds are granted if the following conditions are met:

  • You have not yet completed all orientation components.
  • Your request for cancellation and refund was emailed to orientation@cpp.edu no later than two weeks before your Virtual Orientation Day.
Refunds are not granted automatically and you must contact Orientation via email to request a refund. You are not eligible to receive a refund after completing your Orientation experience, despite any change in your admission status or plans to attend Cal Poly Pomona.

Payment Instructions

Your Orientation Fee must be paid by February 5, 2021 to avoid any holds for non-payment. If you are receiving Financial Aid, you may wait until after your financial aid is disbursed prior to the start of the semester and then pay any remaining balances.
