2019 Pink Patch Project

This October, our organization will be taking part in the 2019 Pink Patch Project, an innovative public awareness campaign designed to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer. The Pink Patch Project is a partnership between the Los Angeles County Police Chiefs’ Association and over 180 law enforcement agencies from across the nation.

The pink patches and lapel pins are intended to encourage conversations with the campus community and to encourage public awareness on the importance of the life-saving benefits of early detection, treatment, and prevention of the disease that affects approximately 1 out of 8 women in the United States.

This year we are really excited to announce that we have partnered with the Cal Poly Pomona Sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha, who will be selling our patches. The proceeds earned from the patches will be donated to the American Cancer Society. You may support this cause by purchasing a patch at one of the following events:

· September 30th-October 4th: Think Pink Week located in the University Quad or University Park.

· Coffee with a Cop: October 2nd

· Banquet at the BSC forum
