Campus Conversation on Virtual Instruction

April 21, 2020

Dear Colleagues,

This is a period of great disruption and change for higher education. With our commitment to creativity, discovery and innovation, I know that Cal Poly Pomona will rise to meet the challenge.

Please join me for our spring Campus Conversation to be held via webinar on Thursday, April 23, from noon to 1:30 p.m. The topic for this discussion will be Virtual Instruction: Lessons Learned and Looking to the Future.

With our rapid, campus-wide move to virtual and remote modes of instruction in response to the coronavirus pandemic, this conversation is an opportunity to reflect on our experiences with virtual instruction and how we further enhance our commitment to experiential learning in the remote context. The webinar will include insights from students and faculty, examples of effective practices, and future planning to support our distinctive approach to inclusive polytechnic education.

I hope you will be able to participate on April 23, as we engage with this important topic as a campus community.
