Rising Senior

Program Dates: July 23rd - July 27th
Application Deadline: June 2nd 2023

Students going into their senior year of high school
Focuses on college application, financial aid, college 101 and builds community.

Students who are selected for the Rising Senior program are required to attend a college prep workshop on the second Saturday of every month leading up to their respective admission cycle.

August 12th - Common App & Coalition App Workshop
September 9th - CSU Application Workshop
October 14th - UC Application Workshop
November 4th - Fall Preview Day
January 13th - Financial Aid & Scholarships
February 10th - College Pathway Celebration

Priority registration deadline is June 1st at 11:59 pm. All other applications will be considered if spaces are available.

Program Dates: June 11th - June 15th 2023
Application Deadline: May 12th 2023

Students going into their Sophomore and Junior year of high school
Focuses on academic exploration, A- G requirements, college pathway and builds community.

Priority registration deadline is May 12th at 11:59 pm. All other applications will be considered if spaces are available.

First Time Freshmen

Program Dates: June 11th - June 15th 2023
Opt In By: May12th 2023

The Residential Intensive Summer Education (RISE) program assists incoming First Time Freshmen to successfully navigate college transition. The 5 day, 4 night experience on campus provides students with the chance to explore Cal Poly Pomona and campus resources while connecting with current students faculty and staff. The intensive summer program centers the experience of Pan African students!
