Subject: CPP Athletics Announces Spectator Attendance Restrictions

The Cal Poly Pomona Department of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced several fan attendance policies and restrictions in advance of the upcoming soccer and volleyball seasons, due to the rise of COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County.

FOR VOLLEYBALL:
No spectators will be allowed in Kellogg Arena. This includes parents and families of participating student-athletes. The "no spectator" moratorium will be evaluated by the campus again in late-September. The indoor attendance decision will be revised based on county and campus conditions, and another announcement will be made on broncoathletics.com at that time.

FOR SOCCER: Spectators will be allowed in Kellogg Stadium, but prior to entering the gate, spectators will need to complete a Guest Health Screener prior to arriving on campus on the same day of each visit, and display the results of the Guest Screener to the individuals selling tickets at the box office. Once inside the facility, all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a mask at all times.

Please do not attend any events if you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms or are under quarantine or isolation orders.

In accordance with California State University and California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) policies, all participating teams, including coaches, student-athletes and team personnel for both soccer and volleyball, must complete an attestation form verifying completion of the full COVID-19 vaccination series or a negative PCR/NAAT COVID-19 tests within 72 hours (or antigen within 48 hours) of competition. More specific information for visiting teams will be sent directly to the visiting coaches and athletic training staff prior to the date of competition.

For those unable to attend soccer or volleyball games in-person due to the restrictions above or for other unrelated reasons, all games will stream live online via the CCAA Network at www.ccaanetwork.com. You may also download the CCAA Network app on your iOS or Android smartphone, tablet, or through web streaming devices such as Amazon Fire, Roku or Apple TV.

Please be aware that the above policies and restrictions are subject to change and can be modified at any time without notice in order to comply with the most current state, local and campus health guidelines. The CPP athletics department will give updates to the above policies and restrictions via our web site at broncoathletics.com and our social media channels on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram at the handle @CPPBroncos.
