Safety and Emergency Information

Travel Restrictions

Effective immediately, Cal Poly Pomona and our auxiliary organizations will suspend all international and non-essential domestic travel from now through May 31, 2020. Vice presidents and deans will make determinations on what constitutes nonessential domestic travel for their respective units and colleges and have the authority to make exceptions accordingly.

The U.S. Department of State has issued several travel advisories to affected countries, including China, Iran, South Korea and Italy. For the latest travel advisory updates, visit the U.S. Department of State website.

Travel Cancellation and Refunds

Travelers should make every effort to cancel their reservation and recover payments that have already been made. If you are unable to obtain a refund or will incur cancellation fees, please follow the Procedures for Reimbursement of State-Funded Canceled Travel to request reimbursement using University Funds. Visit the Travel website for more information.
