Travel Restrictions

Travel Suspension Extended

Cal Poly Pomona and our auxiliary organizations will extend the suspension of all international and non-essential domestic travel to July 31, 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The University President may extend the travel restriction beyond this date based on local circumstances. In addition, the president may provide an exception in extenuating and compelling circumstances; however, this authority shall not be delegated.

To date, the U.S. State Department continues to maintain a Level 4 Travel Advisory applicable to worldwide travel. A Level 4: Do Not Travel advisory is the highest warning level due to a greater likelihood of life-threatening risks. For the latest travel advisory updates, visit the U.S. Department of State website.

Travel Cancellation and Refunds

Travelers should make every effort to cancel their reservation and recover payments that have already been made. If you are unable to obtain a refund or will incur cancellation fees, please follow the Procedures for Reimbursement of State-Funded Canceled Travel to request reimbursement using University Funds. Visit the Travel website for more information.

If you have questions about state-side travel, please contact University Accounting Services at travel@cpp.edu or call 909-869-2154. For non-state travel questions, please email healthalert@cpp.edu or call 909-869-2500.
