Offices & Services -- Open, Closed, Modified Operations

Cal Poly Pomona is open. Some campus offices and services have modified hours and operations. This page will be updated as more information is available. (Updated 3/27/2020)

  • Green Circle Student Health Services

    The Student Health Center will continue to provide care and is working on additional telehealth services. The Center will remain open during regular business hours, and all appointments must be made over the phone. In an effort to keep everyone safe, Health Center staff will screen students by phone prior to scheduling an in-person appointment. Please call (909) 869-4000 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

  • Green Circle Counseling & Psychological Services
    CAPS is now conducting all services via Zoom for the health and safety of students, counselors, and the campus community. Students should call (909) 869-3220 to set up. The 24 hour hotline is still operating: (909) 869-3220, press "2". 
  • Green Circle University Library

  • Green Circle Dining Services

    Centerpointe Dining Commons, Innovation Brew Works, and Vista Market are the only dining locations open on campus. Centerpointe and Innovation Brew Works are accepting to-go and delivery orders via Campus Grubhub (fees have been waived). See below for modified hours and visit https://www.foundation.cpp.edu/dining/ for further updates.

  • Green Circle Bronco Advising Center

    The Bronco Advising Center continues to offer advising services through online and remote methods. 

    For general advising questions, email bac@cpp.edu. We are committed to responding to your email within 48 hours of receiving it.   

    For major-specific and faculty advising-related questions, please visit the Academic & Student Services Support website on how you can get in touch with a college advising center or faculty advisor. 

    For enrollment verification requests, please visit the Degree & Enrollment Verifications website and select the Enrollment Verification option.  This option is free for current students and only takes a few minutes. 

  • Green Circle Financial Aid & Scholarships

    We understand that financial aid funding remains critically important at this time, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation as we all work together to proactively take steps to protect our community. We will continue to be available through online methods during our regular business hours (Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.). 

    If you have general questions: Students and families can email us their questions at finaid@cpp.edu. You can also leave a voicemail at (909) 869-3700.  Please allow 48 hours for an email response from a member of the Financial Aid & Scholarships team.

    If you have in-depth questions about your financial aid: Beginning April 6, visit our website to schedule a 1-on-1 Zoom counseling session with a member of the Financial Aid & Scholarships team.

  • Green Circle Ombuds Office

    Requests for appointments and/or other services can be made by email, and appointments will be conducted by phone or Zoom. For the convenience of those who may need assistance after 5 p.m., appointments can be made between 5 and 7 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays. To ensure that everyone can be accommodated, appointments can also be made after 7 p.m. Mondays through Fridays upon request.

  • Green Circle Parking Services

  • Green Circle Cashier's Office

    Effective March 25, Student Accounting & Cashiering Services will have a partially remote work schedule. From Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, SACS will be available in-person (Student Services Building, first floor, green counter) and over the phone at (909) 869-2010.

  • Green Circle Farm Store at Kellogg Ranch
    The Farm Store is committed to our customers health and well-being during the current crisis. We are complying with Centers for Disease Control and health department guidelines by wiping down surfaces and handles in the store on a regular basis. In addition, store employees are using hand sanitizer and gloves as a precaution. We will continue to operate our normal business hours, 10am - 6pm daily, to serve you as long as we can.   • Green Circle Admissions & Enrollment Planning

    The Office of Admissions & Enrollment Planning staff will continue to be available through online methods. Prospective and admitted students can email admissions@cpp.edu.

  • Green Circle Outreach, Recruitment & Educational Partnerships

  • Green Circle Registrar’s Office

    The Registrar’s Office staff has transitioned to virtual services and is working remotelyWe will conduct normal business from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and will do our best to respond as quickly as possible.

  • Green Circle Career Center

    The Career Center is providing drop-in resume and cover letter advising via Zoom from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday. Email careercounseling@cpp.edu to schedule. Please attach your resume and/or cover letter in the email. Other appointments are still available, and students can book through Handshake.

    The Career Center has also moved their workshops to be virtually available through Zoom. Students can register on Handshake and will receive information about these workshops via email and on the center's Instagram page (@cpp_careercenter).

  • Yellow-Triangle Housing Services

    Following the Governor's Executive Order directing that all individuals living in California stay at home, University Housing Services and the University Village have worked to reduce the density of the population on campus. Because of this, residents are strongly encouraged to return home, if possible. UHS will continue to serve those students who need to remain on campus, although most services and operations have been modified or closed, including the following:

    • UHS residents can no longer bring outside guests into their rooms/suites. Only visitors assisting residents with moving their belonings will be allowed.
    • Laundry facilities are only operating in Encinitas, Montecito, Sol, Sicomoro, and Secoya.
    • ALL UHS common areas including lounges and study rooms are closed.
    • Any policy violations during this critical time may result in eviction upon first offense.
    • The La Cienega Housing Office and Fitness Express are closed.
    • The main UHS office will operate Mon-Fri,  8 am - noon
    • Mail/packages will operate through Secoya, Mon-Fri, noon - 5 pm

    Poly Pantry: The Poly Pantry has been closed until further notice. While the Poly Pantry is temporarily closed, please visit the Poly Pantry website for community-based food resources with links to food pantries and county 211 services. 

  • Green Circle Disability Resource Center

    All staff are working remotely and the use of email is encouraged: drc@cpp.edu. DRC staff will be closely monitoring email to respond as quickly as possible.

    • All DRC appointments will be held by phone or via Zoom.
    • Students already registered with the DRC may request appointments with their disability advisors by emailing drc@cpp.edu.
    • For students with questions about their accommodations or accessibility of virtual instruction, please email drc@cpp.edu.
    • Students wanting to register with the DRC should still apply online through the DRC Website.

    Although no evidence of the coronavirus (COVID-19) has occurred at CalPoly Pomona’s campus, in order to help control any possible spread, both the Kellogg University Art Gallery and Don B. Huntley Art Gallery will be closed until further notice.  We look forward to opening our doors again as soon as possible.
