Fall 2020 will be predominantly virtual

The fall 2020 schedule is being updated with the specific mode of virtual instruction for each course. Incoming students will receive more information and advising during orientation.

We are planning and strategizing

To ensure students have a positive experience and can engage fully in virtual/remote education, we have developed several strategies and initiatives to support all students. One workgroup is focused on the student experience with input from ASI leaders and students across colleges.

We will communicate with you throughout the summer

We know that you have many follow-up questions, and we are working on solutions and resources. We will share more updates ahead of the fall term.

Phased Reopening Considerations

In all our planning efforts, we are guided by our commitment to protect health and well-being, and provide an educational experience that lives up to our standards and legacy as an inclusive polytechnic university. We will continue to follow the guidelines and recommendations from the CSU Chancellor's Office, state and local public health agencies, and protocols for higher education institutions and office-based work sites outlined in Reopening Safer at Work and the Community for Control of COVID-19 Order.
