Marissa Pits

Educational Director

Ms. Pitts is an adjunct teacher at Cal State Los Angeles for various classes, including Acting I and Voice techniques for the stage. She is a guest lecturer at Cal Poly Pomona University, and Ms. Pitts teaches students to achieve an understanding of Shakespeare’s plays through his First Folio Text via workshops and seminars. She also discusses with students ways to navigate the Los Angeles acting industry. She is currently the Educational Outreach Directer for Southern CaliforniaShakespeare Festival. She is also a proud member of SAG-AFTRA and AEA.


Marissa Pitts is a proud member of SAG-AFTRA, AEA. Ms. Pitts graduated from Cal Poly Pomona University with her Bachelors degree in Theatre Arts and has both her M.F.A and M.A. from Cal State University Los Angeles. She is also a member of the company as an actor and is honored to be a part of the board of directors in assisting with the growth of Southern California Shakespeare Festival.
