• EOP Academic Advising - Comprehensive advising support services are offered to declared and undeclared EOP students. All declared EOP students participate in one (1) group advising session each term during their first year and at least annually after that. Undeclared EOP students participate in a minimum of two (2) one to one advising sessions each term and complete activities designed to assist them in the major and career exploration process.  
  • EOP Tutorial - Experience our innovative learning center that combines traditional 1-to-1 tutoring and academic coaching. When you partner with us, you'll learn the skills you need to be successful in Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Writing & Presentations, Humanities, Social Science, and Business. 
  • EOP Grant - EOP offers a grant each year to eligible students who qualify for financial aid, are enrolled full-time, and meet the EOP grant EFC requirement.  The average award is $900 per year. 
  • Summer Bridge Program Selected incoming EOP first year and transfer students have an opportunity to participate in either a first year or transfer summer program designed to ease the transition from high school or community college to the more rigorous environment of Cal Poly Pomona.

  • New EOP Student Welcome – Just before the opening of Fall term all incoming EOP students participate in either the first year or transfer New EOP Student Welcome program. Here you will get the opportunity to meet and mingle with the staff and other EOP students while learning about EOP’s history, legacy, services, and program expectations.

  • Peer Advising Center – Dedicated upper division EOP students serving as Peer Advising Interns are available to assist you with navigating BroncoDirect and the Cal Poly Pomona website, preparing for your 1:1 or Group advising sessions and completing various advising activity sheets, developing effective study habits, as wells as offer peer support and guidance. Check out the Student Support & Equity Programs’ hallway bulletin board in building 94 for office hours.

  • Study Lounge – A quiet space within Student Support & Equity Programs (building 94) is dedicated for EOP and Undeclared students to study between classes. This is for individual, quiet study only. No food, beverages, or talking is permitted.
