Health and Well-being

The Broncos Care Program is a comprehensive campus-wide Basic Needs initiative that serves students experiencing housing instability, food insecurity and other emergency/crisis situations.

The program aims to provide students in need of:

  • Food resources
  • Housing support
  • Emergency funds
  • Case-management support

The program is a campus-wide prevention and early intervention initiative hosted by the Division of Student Affairs.

CAPS provides services such as workshops, group or individual therapy, wellbeing coaching, crisis intervention, and support to access on-and off-campus resources.

College can be a fun and exciting experience, but it can also present a variety of difficult challenges. The experienced professional staff at CAPS is committed to providing you with support to meet your academic, professional, and personal goals. This includes providing culturally sensitive services that are respectful of your diverse identities. CAPS staff includes psychologists, marriage and family therapists and a wellbeing coach. Currently enrolled students are able to utilize services at no additional fee.

The Disability Resource Center provides accommodations and services for registered students. Applying for DRC services is a simple three step process: self-identification, documentation, and an intake interview. Students can apply online on the DRC website.

Services include test accommodations, notetaking services, alternate media, deaf and hard of hearing services, student success coaching, ability ally training, and much more. The DRC also operates a mobility assistance Cart, providing intra-campus cart service for registered students.

The Integrated Care Network promotes, maintains, and improves the health and wellbeing of CPP students through campus partnerships, prevention, early intervention, and easy access to resources.

The Student Health and Wellness Center offers no-cost and low-cost health care. Most health services are covered by the mandatory student health fee already included in your tuition payment.

You can make unlimited appointments online, by phone, or in person. All of our physicians, physician assistants, nurses, medical assistants, pharmacists, lab personnel, and x-ray technicians are Certified and/or Licensed by the State of California.

At the Bronco Wellness Center, students are provided with health education services such as:

  • Health assessments
  • One-on-one educational sessions on various health topics
  • Health promoting giveaways
  • Services to quit nicotine
  • Wellness cards
  • Latex barriers and other safer sex supplies

Survivor Advocacy Services offers support to survivors of sexual abuse, dating/domestic abuse and stalking. SAS Peer Educators and Professional Survivor Advocate offer a confidential, supportive and nonjudgmental environment where survivors are encouraged and empowered to make their own decisions.

Cal Poly Pomona offers two confidential resources. These resources will not ask you to to file a report if you do not wish to do so. For confidential resources you can contact:
