Interim Associate Vice President for Health and Wellbeing Announced

Hallie Lewis will be joining Cal Poly Pomona and the division as Interim Associate Vice President of Campus Health and Wellbeing. Her start date is Monday, July 11, 2022. Hallie's portfolio will include Student Health Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, and Care Services. She will also work closely with other division initiatives throughout the 2022-2023 academic year.

Hallie joins Cal Poly Pomona with 18 years of experience in higher education. Most recently, she served as the Dean of Students and Title IX Coordinator at the Laguna College of Art and Design. She has also held roles at Cal State Fullerton as the Dean of Students, UC Berkeley as the Assistant Dean of Students and Director of the Center for Student Conduct, and has previously worked at UC Riverside, California College of the Arts, and University of Redlands. She is passionate about student retention and success, equity and inclusion, and institutional effectiveness.

She holds a Master of Education from UCLA in Counseling in Student Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts from Occidental College.
