Dr. Megan Stang Named Associate Vice President for Student Affairs

Today, the Division of Student Affairs announced Dr. Megan Stang as the new Associate Vice President for Student Affairs.

Dr. Stang has been with Cal Poly Pomona for over 20 years, most recently serving as the Interim Associate Vice President for Student Affairs. As AVPSA, her portfolio includes Associated Students, Inc., University Housing Services, Rose Float, and Student Health and Wellness. She will work closely with Divisional leadership to create and grow partnerships to promote student learning and success.

Her honorary recognitions include the Division of Student Affairs Leadership Award and TheGolden Nugget for “Best Housing Campus Project” by PCBC at the official show of Leading Builders ofAmerica (2011). She has also presented at professional and paraprofessional conferences, including ACUHO-I, NACAS, WACUHO, PACURH and SCUP. Prior to joining Cal Poly Pomona, Dr. Stang had over 10 years of experience in the private sector in property management and tenant relations.

She holds her Ed.D. in Organizational Leadership and M.B.A. in Finance from Pepperdine University andher B.A. from McGill University.
