Bronco Student Center - Ursa Minor

This drop-in style workshop will educate Broncos on harm reduction strategies related to alcohol and drug use. Participate in activities covering topics such as standard drinks, BAC (Blood Alcohol Content), how to respond to alcohol poisoning, opioid overdose, and more. The Bronco Wellness Center will provide additional resources and giveaways, including fentanyl test strips and Narcan. 

Get your commemorative BroncoFusion 2024 clear crossbody bag while supplies last! The first 500 students attending the Wellness Center’s “Broncos Know How to Party” workshop will receive a free bag, which is approved for most concert venues, including BroncoFusion.

BRIC Pool

Have you ever wanted to try SCUBA, but without the commitments? For only $10, you can try it out and see if SCUBA diving is for you! For 2 hours, youíll be able to try our equipment and participate in fun underwater activities! All equipment will be provided.

Project Rebound Trailer Building 13C

New Student Welcome for all incoming Project Rebound students will be held at the Project Rebound trailer in Building 13C, next to Upward Bound. Come and help welcome back our current students and new students!

BRIC Pool

Trade your legs for a tail at our Mermaid Fitness class! By using a mermaid-like monofin around your legs, this full-body workout will focus on targeting specific core muscles through swimming techniques. So set aside your gizmos and thing-a-ma-bobs, and enjoy this unique group fitness class! Registration opens 24 hours before class start time.

Test your strength in new waters with this one-of-a-kind aquatic fitness class! Exclusive to BRIC members, the FitFloat group fitness class will focus on core stability exercises and stretches on a floating FitFloat board in the BRIC pool.

Darlene May Lawn

Have you ever wanted to go backpacking, but didn't know what to bring or do? This workshop covers the fundamentals of backpacking and the essential items required for your trip. Participants will practice using the necessary equipment used for backpacking like tents, stoves, and more! Don't miss out on the opportunity to plan an outdoor trip, pack a backpack, and cook a camping-friendly meal.

Join in with the CPP LGBTQ+ Community to welcome back our students. Get the scoop on our upcoming events, learn about our resources, meet our new staff, enjoy some free food, and meet other Queer students on campus. Have a fun afternoon with the community!

BRIC Studio 'A'

Unlock the secrets to a balanced body and mind through yoga basics. Improve your physical fitness by learning beginner yoga poses and breathing exercises suitable for all to enjoy. This class offers a welcoming environment to learn new techniques, to begin implementing into your daily routine, or to refine your skills. All experience levels are welcome.

5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

BRIC Courts

Ready to let it fly from long range? The 3-Point Shootout gives Broncos a chance to step onto the court and channel their inner Steph Curry or Caitlin Clark by going head-to-head by shooting the basketball from the three-point line. You might have the chance to meet your future IM teammates or even win a prize. Bring your best from beyond the arc.

4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

BRIC Pool

Kick off the fall semester with a pool party! Enjoy water and lawn-based games, enter to win prizes in the opportunity drawing, and snack on free food while supplies last. Whether you're lounging in a hammock or playing in the pool, there is no better way to welcome in the new semester. 

7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Bronco Peak (@ the BRIC)

Calling all new climbers! This beginner friendly event is a great way to practice your skills and make friends in a supportive environment. Become familiar with the community and gain confidence for future visits to the Bronco Peak. Instructors and staff will be available for assistance with climbing and belaying technique as well.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Mt. San Jacinto, Round Valley

Experience backpacking, scenic views, and a night under the stars as you venture to to Mt. San Jacinto in Riverside county! Journey above the desert floor through the Palm Springs aerial tramway for a 10-mile backcountry trek. Transportation, tram ticket, equipment, and food included. Note: High physical exertion and up to 40 lbs backpack load required.

College of Environmental Design (ENV). Building 7.

This workshop will be held at the College of ENV by a Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) psychologist, Dr. Ang.

Paint your stressors away in this workshop guided by a CPP alum! Each brushstroke will be guided every step along the way for maximum fun and de-stressing. BRIC Studio A

Mindfulness is the ability to focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. At Mindful Broncos, you'll learn unique ways on how you can practice mindfulness in everyday life. We'll go beyond seated meditation and discuss how you can achieve this through movement, out in nature, or even in the classroom.

It's a pool party at the BRIC pool! There will be food, games, music and good vibes. Upperclassmen are welcome as well.

This eSports Tournament features Nintendo classic Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Dodge shells and bananas as you race your friends around action-packed courses for the tournament grand prize!

Looking to flex your brain? The Chess Tournament is a friendly, introductory-level opportunity that will allow you to test your chess proficiency against fellow check-mates! Players of all chess skill levels are welcome to take part and experience the intellectual joys of chess and have the chance at the first place prize.

BRIC - Studio A

Whether you're new to yoga or an experienced practitioner, join us for a transformative workshop that integrates yoga movements and principles into daily life. This workshop aims to enhance physical fitness across all levels by incorporating a mix of poses and breathwork. Specifically, participants will learn techniques to improve back strength and mobility. Join our inclusive yoga community for an uplifting session focused on integrating mind, body, and spirit.

BRIC Courts

Combine soccer, table tennis, and volleyball to get the Teqball/Teqvolley Tournament! Players can enter in a team of two, using their footwork and volley skills to compete against each other at the BRIC courts for the top prize.
