Dr. Phyllis Nelson, VRC Tutoring

As a Cal Poly Pomona alum, I know how much of a difference it makes in one's life to complete a degree here. I am happy to offer what help I can to make sure that our students who are veterans or dependents have the best possible chance of succeeding. These days I miss dropping in for my VRC tutoring hour every week and seeing folks in person, but I continue to be committed to offering what help I can by making my office hours available through the VRC. And It is great having veterans in my classes because of their discipline and maturity. They are often the ones who are willing to ask the questions other students are too insecure to ask.
