Austin Wampler, VA Vet Center

Austin has served Cal Poly Pomona since 2013.  He is currently a social worker for the San Bernardino Vet Center. Austin has provided over 15,000 visits, conducted 640 hours of outreach at over 100 events and provided services to over 700 individual Veterans. Austin has provided readjustment counseling for Cal Poly Pomona. He has been instrumental in assisting veterans with managing readjustment issues and achieving their personal and educational goals. At the university, he also provides self-help and train-the-trainer educational briefings to contribute towards student Veterans success socially and educationally.
