Ag Career Day

Information for Students

Date: Thursday, February 7, 2019

Time: 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Location: Bronco Student Center, Ursa Major 

Who's invited: All Huntley College of Agriculture students; no cost to attend

What to bring: Students should come dressed in professional business attire and bring resumes, cover letters, and business cards to distribute.  Students should bring their paper ticket from Eventbrite.

What to expect: Best Resume Contest, Dress For Success Opportunity Drawing, door prizes, free professional photographs, company swag

Student Registration:  Students are asked to register in advance for Ag Career Day.  Register online at Eventbrite.  Print out a paper ticket and bring with you to Ag Career Day. 

Students that pre-register for Ag Career Day will have their registration tickets entered into a raffle for two tickets to Disneyland.  To participate, students need to pre-register on Eventbrite, print out their ticket, and submit the paper ticket at the check-in table at Ag Career Day.  The winner will be announced after Ag Career Day.

Location: Bronco Student Center, Ursa Major

Who's invited: Companies interested in networking with and/or hiring our students for volunteer positions, internships, or seasonal, part-time, and full-time positions. 

Our majors include Agribusiness & Food Industry Management, Agricultural Science, Animal Health Science, Animal Science, Apparel Merchandising & Management, Food Science & Technology, Nutrition, and Plant Science. Read more about our valuable programs.


8 a.m. - 10 a.m. Parking & Set up
9:15 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Company and College Mixer
10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Student Career Day (lunch served around noon)
2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Clean up


Price: $200 per company 

Included: One table, two chairs, continental breakfast and lunch for two company representatives, parking permits, and event shuttle. Additional lunches can be ordered in advance for $8 each. Please note lunches are pre-ordered and cannot be changed the day of the event. This event is indoors.

Parking: Parking permits and directions will be mailed one week prior to the event. Shuttle service from the parking lot to and from the Bronco Student Center will be provided. Be on the lookout for signs directing you to our career fair. Additional parking permits are available upon request.
