Excited students mug for the camera as they line up on Mansion Lane prior to the Huntley College of Agriculture's Commencement in June 2018.
In light of the COVID-19 crisis, Cal Poly Pomona has postponed all Spring 2020 commencement ceremonies, including the Huntley College of Agriculture ceremony scheduled for May 17.
The postponement is effective until the university can ensure the safety and security of our students and their families. Cal Poly Pomona is advising families not to make arrangements to come to the campus. The university is actively looking at alternatives to celebrate its graduates in an appropriate manner.
Commencement is an important part of the Cal Poly Pomona experience, and the university and the Huntley College of Agriculture want to honor their students' significant milestones. While the formal pomp and circumstance will not take place in May, the university and college will work to create an experience that honors the commitment and sacrifice made by students and their families. We ask for your patience and understanding as we continue to find solutions during these unprecedented times.
