Spring on the Farm Field Trips
Starting March 25, 2020!
Spring is a great time to visit the Farm! Plants are growing, bees are buzzing and there is a freshness to the air. Spring on the Farm Field Trips will occur between March and May 2020. They offer a variety of activities that are both curriculum-oriented and Fun!
NEW THIS SEASON!
We'll have expanded Farm Tours, Fiber and Weaving activities, and Bees and Honey demonstrations.

Child - $8
Parents & Adults - $3 (Does not include Strawberry / Vegetable Picking)

*Walking Tour of Discovery Farm
*Hay Wagon Ride

One Teacher and one Support Staff per 25 children are complimentary (does not include strawberry / vegetable picking).
Signing up for a Field Trip Is Easy in 3 Steps:
1. Check the Availability Calendar to Find Dates that Work for Your Group.
2. Fill out the Field Trip Reservation Form and request your Preferred Dates and Activities
3. We Will Contact you to Confirm the Details of Your Trip
*Due to the hands-on learning environment of these field trips, groups may need to be split into smaller units.
Spring Field Trip FAQ:
WHEN ARE FIELD TRIPS HELD? 'Spring on the Farm' Field Trips are held every spring, Wednesday - Friday. Special arrangements are possible for larger groups, please inquire via e-mail.
HOW LONG IS A FIELD TRIP? Usually between 2 - 2 ½ hours, allow extra time if you will take a snack or lunch break. Picnic tables are provided on a first-come basis. We request that you arrive 15 minutes PRIOR to your reservation time to allow for check-in.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING? Buses and cars will have Free parking, directions and information will be provided in advance. Look for signs upon entering AGRIscapes on South Campus Drive.
DO YOU REQUIRE LIABILITY WAIVER FORMS? Yes, ALL field trip participants including adults must fill out and return the Liability Waiver form that will be provided – One per family. Unfortunately we will not be able to allow those without the completed forms to participate. These may also be downloaded from the website.
WHAT METHODS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT? Payment can be made with Cash, Check (Payable to the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation) or Credit Card. Payable in advance or at the time of check-in, refunds are not possible. Special payment arrangements must be confirmed with AGRIscapes staff in advance.
CAN WE PURCHASE ADDITIONAL STRAWBERRIES? Absolutely! Very often parents and others accompanying field trips will pick and purchase additional Strawberries from the field.
WHAT ELSE IS AVAILABLE? Additional Pick-Your-Own crops are seasonably available including several types of vegetables and berries. Also the Cal Poly Farm Store offers a large selection of produce grown by students here on campus.
WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? The Farm at AGRIscapes Outreach Center is located at 4102 S. University Dr. Pomona, CA 91768 next to the Farm Store. Enter on South Campus Drive from the corner of Temple Avenue.
