Our Commitment to Students

One of the missions of the Center is to produce the finest next-generation Customer Insights professionals by providing students with the necessary training. The following are some of the ways in which the Center supports the student’s training.

  • Provide training

  • Offer workshops.
  • Conduct original research with students and craft a research report.
  • Send students to research competitions and conferences (local, out-of-state, and international).

You Can Be Supporters

As you can see above, training students for their ability to generate insights into consumers and business buyers requires significantly more resources. For example, most entry-level jobs require candidates to have a few years of experience in market research. Even for some internship jobs, prior experience is often expected. This necessitates the various analytics jobs and Research Assistant positions in the Center. Our students travel locally, nationally, and internationally to go to conferences to present their research findings and learn from the professionals. Indeed, it takes a lot of resources and concerted effort. For this reason, we welcome support from the business community. There are several ways that businesses can choose to participate in this exciting opportunity at Cal Poly Pomona.
