Step 1.  Apply to the University

Fall 2018

Cal Poly Pomona will be accepting applications from October 1 – May 31, 2019 for all students wishing to pursue a graduate business degree for the fall semester of 2019. 

Apply online at Cal State Apply once the application period opens.  A $55 nonrefundable application fee is required of all applicants. After you apply, you will receive your Bronco ID number from our Office of Admissions.  You can use this ID to check on the status of your application on Bronco Direct, but we also recommend that you contact the department directly to see if any supporting documents are missing at or 909-869-2363.  


Step 2.  Submit Transcripts, Test Scores, & Supporting Documents

Submit Official Transcripts to our Office of Admissions immediately after your apply so that they are received by April 1st for Fall 2018 applicants. 


Send official transcripts from all institutions attended to our Office of Admissions.

Test Scores:

Take the GMAT or the GRE and request that official scores be sent to Cal Poly Pomona by July 1, 2019.  Keep in mind that it can take up to 20 days from when you take the exam for the University to receive your scores.  If your Bachelor’s degree was not taught in English, you must take the TOEFL or IELTS and have official scores sent to Cal Poly Pomona by the Office of Admissions deadline.

Step 3.  Follow Up on Your Application Status.

Once you have applied to the program, check your Bronco Direct account frequently to see if you have fulfilled all the items on your Bronco Direct To Do List.  You may also follow up with the Graduate Business Programs Office separately to see if all your supporting documents have been received.
