Positive School Culture: Foundations for Common Core Success 

October 16th 4:30-6:30 p.m.

Ursa Major, Bronco Student Center

Explore how educators must rework their paradigm of a “successful student” and create learning environments that foster student independence and skill development based on the Common Core State Standards. Learn practical strategies to promote self-learning and classroom management tips that seek to empower students and encourage student success. A panel of administrators from local school districts will examine the impact of district wide culture and school-site culture. Additionally, breakout sessions for elementary, middle, and high school will discuss strategies for developing a positive classroom culture. 

 If you do not have a CPP Faculty/Staff or Student permit, please purchase one from the Information Booth or the dispenser in the lot. The cost of a permit is $6. Failure to purchase or display a permit, will result in a citation from University Parking Services.
