This program will cover the concepts, theory, practical material, and ethics required as formal training for the PMP application as set forth by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Each course in this certificate program will build the skills needed to be a successful project manager at any level of an organization. It satisfies the 35 contact-hours formal training requirement for the PMP application process. This program will also help students prepare for the materials covered in the PMP examination. A downloadable 200-question practice exam covering the PMBOK® Guide 6th edition is also included to assist with preparation.

Individuals interested in preparing to take the PMP® exam or those who wish to improve their project manager skills. Instructor

Paul Wyrick is a Project Portfolio Management leader with over a decade of experience in the areas of demand management and resource capacity management. In addition, he has over 15 years of project oversight at all levels of the project lifecycle and brings a high level of expertise in the areas of project costing, strategic planning, and capital and operational budget planning. He has managed various projects, programs, and products in non-profit organizations as well as healthcare, mortgage, commercial software, public utilities, and manufacturing industries. He has an MBA from Pepperdine University, a BS in Computer Science from Cal State Fullerton, and is a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
