Introduction to Youth Programs

The College of the Extended University at Cal Poly Pomona is pleased to offer a variety of academic summer camps designed to inspire, excite and challenge the minds of middle school and high school students, while introducing students to life on a university campus.

The weeklong summer residential camps offer exciting, experience-based instruction focused on today’s most in-demand career fields. Our instructors create an engaging academic experience that combines lectures, hands-on workshops and labs and guest speakers.

Each program also includes extended learning opportunities, which may include participation in the Disney Youth Education Series, a field trip to the California Science Center or a site visit to various industry-related companies.

Participants not only gain new academic skills and knowledge, they meet new friends and enjoy recreational and social activities such as swimming, basketball, soccer, movie night, a visit to our BioTrek rain forest and more!

Be sure to check out the Student Life section for information on recreational and social activities, housing, dining and other program details.
